I would recommend Dr. Westrick for orthopedic surgery. I had broken my tibia and fibula. Shattered part of my tibia. 9 years later you would never know that I had the initial surgery for the x-fixture and 6 other surgeries. Excellent beside manner and never had to wait for an appointment with him.
Dr. Westrick has treated my 93 year old mother on two occasions. Once for a severely broken femur and a severely fractured hip. Both times my mother has had successful recoveries! Mom just turned 93 and is able to walk and live on her own. Dr Westrick is a miracle doctor!1
Dr. Westrick and his staff are phenomenal. They are kind and caring. Everything is explained in a detailed, understandable manner. They are very thorough and highly skilled.
Dr Westrick saved my life. So far he has performed 19 surgerirs on me and saved my lower right leg and entire left arm.
Dr. Westrick treated me for a severe tibial plateau fracture. He addressed all of my concerns at every visit & his staff responded in a timely manner to all phone inquiries regarding my treatment. He was encouraging but realistic regarding my recovery. I would highly recommend him for his skill. knowledge & bedside manner.
We would recommend this doctor for surgery however good luck getting follow up appointments. We have waited up to 2-1/2 hours just to be seen by a doctor for a post op appointment. And to even get a phone call back with answers is slim to none. And you will wait 2-1/2 hours for ten minutes of time with the doctor. If you can even see the doctor, usually you will see a nurse or PA.
My grandmother was in the hospital after a car accident for 2 days with a broken hip because Dr.Westrick couldn't fit her into his schedule. Then he couldn't do the entire surgery so he made her wait for another week then had to re-break her leg to put a plate and screws in. Once surgery was over he never came out to great us to tell us how surgery went. He called my mom's cell phone to tell her. She was in the hospital for over a week and we still don't know what he looks like. Worst care.
Extremely talented with a good "bedside" manner.
