Ed s Air conditioning saved me \$4-\$6K. Before calling them I called two different service that said I had a hole in my outside coil and needed to replace the outside compressor. Since it was old, this meant also replacing the condensor on the inside. I called Ed s on a recommendation to get a price for a new compressor and when I explained the problem, they said they have had good luck patching outside coils. I cannot possibly give a higher recommendation than the one I d give for Louie at Ed & Sons Air Conditioning. I was shocked by his warmth, honesty, eagerness to dismantle a motor and kindly explain each little part to me in hopes of finding a less expensive solution, and willingness to spend an extra 90 minutes painstakingly cleaning our screens with a hose, pulling out 15 years worth of leaves, and climbing around in the attic blowing through hoses to make sure they weren t clogged.
