Found my love of sail at EBC. My dad, Bill Hollar, took me as a kid to EBC and taught me sailing on the Detroit river. I remember my dad sitting out on the front lawn announcing for sail boat races. To this day I still remember the musty smells of old wood floors and sail lockers. My memory has me sitting in an old, comfortable, big stuffed chair, sipping from a glass bottle Coke and looking out at the river.
