I have been going to this vet with all of the dogs I have had. Their staff is very competent and considerate as well as knowledgeable about my pets. I would not go anywhere else. They are the very best!
Awesome place well and they care about the animals safety and there family. I would recommend this place and Chewy is happy 😃 too
walle lerma loves it here . they treat him so well
Amazing service and friendly staff! Highly recommend. I live in Virginia Beach and it's worth the drive to have the best vet for my dog. 😁Thanks Doctor Mulderrig and staff!
I took my sons dog in on Oct 22. She had a lump & belly swelling that started in July. Yes, we held off the visit due to the covid regulations. I don’t believe we should be forced to send our dogs in alone. After all, you wouldn’t send your minor child into the pediatrician alone. She was seen by a different vet than our normal doc. The doc just looked at her, felt her belly & called it a large mass tumor. She completely discouraged my son against an X-ray so they could actually see what was going on inside. Even though we h... read more

First, I would like to express our sympathy about the loss of Princess, she was a very sweet dog and it was very unfortunate for her to have succumb to a horrible cancer. We understand the grief over losing our pets is very real and powerful. It seems from your review you found it very difficult to listen to our doctors after they informed you about the large mass in your dog's abdomen and the likely diagnosis of cancer. To help your piece of mind and closure after electing to euthanize your pet let me review your visits and... read more
From my very first visit when they came right out to meet Yogi and take him inside for a surgery consultation to picking Yogi up after a successful surgery everything was Exceptional. Thank you Dr. Shane and all the wonderful staff that worked with Yogi. Even with Covid and your curb-side policy (which I personally appreciate) I left the morning of his surgery feeling very comfortable knowing he was in great hands. Communication was outstanding. Dr Shane was through and even insisted I wait to make a decision about something... read more
After a year of living with a very sick Newfoundland puppy and thousands of dollars later, we were referred to Dr. Campbell and his staff by another vet. We had just been giving a death sentence for her. Hearts broken, he was our only hope, Dr. Campbell was determined to help. 3 years later our baby is the healthiest and happiest ever! We will forever be grateful for this hospital. They treat us like family and our two newfies love every minute visiting with the staff. We owe everything to Dr. Campbell and his staff. They sa... read more

Thank you so much for such a heartfelt and meaningful review. We truly appreciate it, and always love to see your fur babies.
Best Vet In Chesapeake!!!!
I have taken my dogs to this vet for several years. My 10 1/2 year old golden began to not feel well on Sunday. She would not eat Sunday night and was not interested in going outside or doing anything else. Monday she was almost back to normal. Eating and going outside. Last night she threw up. Overnight she had diarrhea. This morning she threw up again but this looked to be like hair and some other things. I called the vet at 8am to see if we can get her in. They referred me to an emergency vet. I am not sure if this is eme... read more
