Unsafe and poorly managed. I’ve had multiple safety issues living here. 1) My locked bike was stolen from the secured communal bike room after someone cut through my lock. 2) There are also frequent car break-ins in the parking garage. 3) There is a homeless encampment just steps from the building; I was confronted and yelled at by somebody living there. Renters deserve better protection and accountability.
I moved in this week to Edgewater, and I could not be happier. Sophie, Caitlin, James, and the leasing team went above and beyond in helping getting me settled in for my stay here, in short order. I am thankful for their efforts, and I would HIGHLY recommend this upscale community if life takes you to Philadelphia. First class all the way!
I wish I could say I had a great experience, but unfortunately I didn’t. My fiancé and I lived at Edgewater for a year and had multiple bad experiences. Starting with a water damage on our ceiling caused by a fire in the unit on top of ours… that happened within a month of moving in. I signed my lease at Edgewater with full intent and excitement to live here. I was the first tenant in a brand new unit and was drawn in by the two months free and the promise of “luxury living.” Unfortunately, what I experienced was the exact opposite. Since move-in day, I’ve had ongoing issues with hot water. Showers would cut off after 7–10 minutes, forcing me to go to my boyfriend’s just to take a normal shower.
