Great Food – This is my first time to submit a review. I decided to check this place out after finding it here on citysearch. Me and my girlfriend made it a double date night with another couple. Dinner for Two... I would definitely suggest Eden if you're looking for an offbeat date spot. The setting is very quiet and intimate, but still very relaxed. Great service as well!
mpm45's review is just sour grapes! – Eden has the best homemade food on lovers lane. Also look them up on the Health Inspections web site : they have always made in the mid 90's on their inspections. I believe that mpm45 is from Tart Bakery ; trying to cause trouble for the folks at Eden, their competition. BEST FIND, BEST FOOD!!!! – I found this place on CitySearch and decided to stop in after reading the reviews. I discovered that everything everyone wrote couldn't be more true!!!!!! The baked brie melts in your mouth, the Mexican corn chowder was so tasty - both sweet and spicy at the same time and the the sage burger is by far the best burger I have EVER had! Rare Find – Four of us dined at Eden Cafe on Saturday evening, June 9. Eden Cafe is a rare find in restaurants - good selection (not 500 choices to which no kitchen can do justice), very good service, a chef (Karen Kahn) who obviously cares greatly about her fare, wonderful desserts after the wonderful main courses, yet unassuming. "Paradise Found" is an UNDERSTATEMENT ! Went to Eden Cafe on the recommendation of April edition of D-magazine (p.164). The food is great; the ambiance is perfect; the service is spectacular; the location is prime; we can not say enough good things about Eden!!!! Why do the critiques seem to praise the same Dallas chefs over and over when they are outlandish, and not particularly tasty. Gourmet food on a limited budget! – My wife and I have dined at Eden Cafe on West Lovers Lane (right across from Celebration! Restaurant) several times. Each time the food has been excellent, the service has been outstanding, and the prices have been very reasonable. Innovative Cuisine – Fantastic, innovative food that is freshly prepared and served in a nice, airy, open atmospphere. The baked brie appetizer was fantastic, as was the sage burger with feta cheese. Salads feature a fresh selection of greens and veggies; a nice change from the norm. Save room for fantastic cobblers. Only grip is that some background music would be nice.
