I adored the first ring that I looked at (an antique), and I liked the owner's quiet attentiveness. She wasn't pushy, and seemed to love her inventory and be passionate about her craft.

This is not a run of the mill jewelers. The jeweler, Anne, custom makes rings for people, especially committment rings, which can be in three different languages, and you design. Same sex couples can be very comfortable going there at least we were and so were our friends we are a transgender couple. My partner and I and good friends all got our committment rings there and were very happy with them. I have rarely had service as good as what I received here. Anne doesn't know me from Adam. I was visiting in the neighborhood for three weeks. I brought her my Movado Museum watch, which hadn't worked for months. She told me it needed cleaning. Several days later, I happened to be walking by. She made our engagement rings and wedding bands custom, and was flexible about the design despite our not being sure what we wanted. While she may be a little unusual, she made us beautiful rings, and she tries to buy diamonds from Canada when possible to avoid conflict diamonds. We're happy we used her.‎

My partner love's jewelry and Edelweiss has been one of her favorites since it opened. Recently, we had another good experience and she purchased a lovely art deco style pendant. This is a wonderful store and the owner makes some beautiful, quality jewelry. My wife has a necklace, bracelet and other jewelry al from this store. SHe also loves the ability to create her own unique pieces by working with the owner/manufacturer. Highly recommended--check it out.

My fiance and I were greeted warmly, and allowed to look through the designs without interference or hard sell. The proprietor is culturally sensitive and charming, and we felt ourselves to be in good hands. The sizing of my wedding ring was excellent, and I have been wearing it happily for two years now. I stopped in here to check out the estate stuff, of which there is a small but tasteful selection. The jeweler who runs the place also designs her own jewelry, which is understated and elegant and unusual. If I wanted to have something made, I would trust her to have a practical and aesthetic eye. I didn't actually have anything done, but it's worth a shot if you're in the market for newer jewelry or repairs.
