Ed is great at what he does. He is always willing to be there in the time between sessions when things get hard or just to check in. He is very smart and always learning new things on many topics, so he knows the best way to help and teach you how to help yourself and make the best decisions for the work you are doing. And it is work, but he is there all the way with you. I'm lucky to have found him.
I've seen therapists and counselors all my life and Ed is the very best I've seen. First off, he is 100% dedicated, even when you're not. He does cost a pretty penny (but he will work with you on the cost)... and the thing is it totally makes sense for how much I've learned about myself, my past, how to interpret my difficulties, and my understanding of complex subjects such as social boundaries. Ed does great work and highly intelligent and trained in his field ! He is highly committed to helping the person and will be with you each step of the process. I have been with him for over 3 years and grateful Akron has this psychotherapist . A true professional. Went to four other therapists in Akron area who had no idea what they were doing. His office is professional and is his practice.

I didn't want to give one star! I seen Mr. Novak for over a year and I will always regret it. Cognitive behavioral therapy destroys lives not to mention the fact that you can go to church and get the same treatment for free!!!
