RecommendedMy daughter had a burn accident and we took her to the ER in Edenton. They were beyond amazing. We were referred to Greenville for the burn clinic and being we live close to the VA line we considered going to Chesapeake. But decided we would stay within the Vidant family since this is where we started. We have had three visits and each one is more amazing than the next. RecommendedI have had some of theee best nurses since being here. I’ve had unforeseen circumstances that have cause 4 brain surgery in less that a month and a half! Most of all I’ll never forget Deirdre! 3rd shift.... NSICU floor..... Vidant Medical Center! She is a traveling nurse and will be here until the end of the month but OMG she’s been my rock! you mean like getting your act together I'm researching information on a patient and not just assume and treat them like a civilian.. after being there after being there for five days I said I didn't realize I was a veteran they had my ID card
They have got to have the rudest nurses I've ever dealt with. The ones I've met have absolutely no respect, bed side manner, or compassion. Also, the waits are always insane. On top of how I already felt, tonight I brought my sick boyfriend to the ER (only because he didn't feel he could handle the ride to Greenville) and I had larger nurse with thin, short blonde hair roll her eyes at me when I explained to her he wasn't feeling well (she had called him for Triage) and was in the bathroom. RecommendedWe are coming up on a year since my dad got really ill with the adenovirus. He ended up on life support and he got worse each day. We didn’t think he would make it. He was in the hospital for well over a month/month and half. Vidant did a wonderful job and did everything they could to keep him alive and get him better! They were wonderful! Because of the doctors and nurses at vidant.. my dad is alive today and doing so good! He will be welcoming his 2nd grandchild soon!
