EcoShield is a scam. First, they have people loitering around the neighborhood going door to door. They are very pushy and will not take no for an answer. I used the service for the required contract period. I called in several times attempting to cancel the service. Every couple month I would get a reminder notice that I had a treatment date coming up and I would call in again to cancel the service. I've been using EcoShield for about 4 years now. The techs are always helpful and the seasonal ant problem hasn't been seen since they started. Lito came today to review a potential rodent problem and he was efficient and helpful. Highly recommend these guys.
If I could give zero stars, I would! They have done nothing they claimed they would. I signed the contract based on the fact that the salesman (FALSELY) PROMISED this company would take care of voles and a silverfish issue. Horrible horrible horrible!!! I signed a contract with Ecoshieldpest Control. The next day two guys came for service. In less than ten minutes, I saw they are leaving. I asked the guy how come you finished spreading half an acre in less than 10 minutes. the other guy finished inside in less than three minutes (5500 SQF). I argued and informed them that I am not satisfied with this kind of service and I canceled my contract at the same time by sending an email and calling the company and explained the issue. they insist that any payment will be based on s... read more

Had to call the POLICE. Our security camera caught one of their "sales people" lingering on our front porch WITH NO MASK staring into our home wearing a shirt with Ecoshield on it, an LA baseball cap, a tool belt and street clothes. This looked like a fake uniform. When confronted, he said he noticed some bugs and wanted to offer their services because he had a crew waiting in the car all day to work (keep in mind, I didn't see a car or truck anywhere on our street nor do we have bugs). These guys are operating a criminal enterprise. They sneak up to your house put a bill on your door and drive off without rendering any services. Stay away from these people at all costs.
The EcoShield Pest Solutions - North DC people are not helping customers that are unable to finish their contract started in July 2020, due to being owed rent from a tenant 3,000+ K, they are unable to work due to COVID-19. Horrible experience, after their spraying outside, I got tons of ants in my house that died everywhere. Never had that with other company. Also, when I cancelled my service like the door to door guy said I could at anytime I got a extremely high fee. Then I refused to pay it because of their service and they sicked a creditor on me. They have a horrible serivce and they are crooks.
