The owner is non existent and will not answer the phone for clients. They live in ******* and have an extremely high turnover rate leading to having unqualified personnel for jobs that they are selling. I moved out of state and they took $500 out of my last check for a certification that had already paid for itself in the field.

ECOS was chosen by my insurance company as the contractor to repair damages after a fire. The job took almost a year, twice as long as it was scheduled to take. The insurance company said I could do some of the work myself which I did. However when it came time to be reimbursed for the materials ECOS paid me less than half of the money they were paid by the insurance company, pocketing the rest of the money. This is the 2nd time I've used ECOS. The first was for water mitigation from a burst water heater in our condo. This time it was from renters spoiling the carpets with pet urine. In the first case this involved removing carpet, tile and drywall up 2 feet, drying everything out, and then replacing the drywall. In the second case it involved treatment with wall scrubs, floor treatment with enzymes, and then ozone machine to finish removing odor. What an absolute horrendous organization. They were hired to do some significant remediation work at my house in Pitkin County as a preferred contractor through my insurance provider. The work was never completed, they left my house in a state of disrepair, and they left me in a situation where I actually had to file a lawsuit to get someone else to fix their construction defects. Ecos does not stand by its work. I highly recommend that you stay far away.

If I could select zero stars I would. I highly recommend you make another selection when you are looking for environmental cleanup. I have heard of items going missing after ecos has showed up. They are smug, and very unprofessional, worst company in the roaring fork Valley in my opinion.

You've been warned! Do not do business with these people! Very shady business. And I'm pretty sure the "good" reviews are either from the snake who's the owner or an employee. Not a good company, do not trust a word from their forked tongues.
