I've used this company on a couple occasions and they were on time and did a very good job. The last job I had them do was to remove a large coconut palm that was struck by lighting. They brought the cherry picker and crew and had it down in a short period. The ratings on here may look bad, but I have had two good experiences with them and just called them to come give me an estimate on cutting down two large foxtails I have to remove.

I was wary of the company due to the low ratings on here but decided to give them a try anyway. Their estimate was very good and I received a big discount for being a first time costumer. I was pleasantly surprised, they came in time and had good machinery and trucks. They reshaped by black olive tree very well with a disc tool instead of the usual hedge cutter which left my tree looking much better than usual. WARNING... DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They have terrible customer service and was completely dissatisfied with the trimming of my mango tree. I only have a few tree branches left. Twice did not keep the appointment scheduled. I ask to speak to a manager and they call me at 10:41 AM saying they would be going by. My husband leaves to work at 2:30 PM and no one had gone by. I call at 5:30 PM to ask what happened since I had never heard back from the manager. They tell me the manager got caught up and would be there in 20 minutes... read more

They showed up, did a crappy job, barely cutting the trees, and left with out saying anything. When we called them to have them come back and finish, they said the would come back but never did. After that they stopped answering our phone calls. I do no recommend!

They don't come at apointed times. They may show up 3 days early, as they did for me. They may come when you're not home, as they did for me. And they may cut trees you don't want cut, as they did for me. They drop huge branches without roping them off and safely lowering them to the ground and drop them on hedges, bushes, or whatever happens to be underneath what they're cutting. I used this company to remove a tree that I had in my yard. When they were throwing out the tree into the truck they accidently droped it and broke a chunk of my concrete drive way, they then promised to fix it and they never did. Also the stump grind was not done properly and when I first called to tell them they told me to give it time to dry out and it never did so I then called back like 6 months later to tell them that I needed it corrected and they told me that I should have called before and that it was not covered. I called Econimic Tree Service (ETS) for a removal estimate because they left their flier on my gate many times.. The receptionist was very crass and I was told that the worker would be here "a little after 3pm and someone would call to tell me when he was on the way "......it's after 4pm...no call no worker? i called back to find out what was going on and the receptionist said...oh really...i'm sorry let me call the worker and call you right back........lo and behold.....it's now after 5pm and still no worker or no phone ca... read more

I review tree permits for a local city. I have had 2 residents come to my office in the last week. They both were fined by Code Enforcement for hat-racking trees. Both had hired Economic Tree Service(ETS) to 'trim' their trees. Economic assured them that they did not need a tree trimming permit. This was not true. A tree trimming permit is required when you trim more than 25% of the tree canopy. One resident was fined $1500, the other $6000! Do not use them!
