12/15/23 Update: We have now moved into our Ecocraft home. While there are many things about our home we love, there have been issues as well (as with any new home). The biggest issue both during building and after was and remains communication with Ecocraft. At times we had to beg Ecocraft to come out and fix basic things (like our eco-friendly heater having an issue immediately upon our move in - it was apparently an easy fix, but the system is French and no one locally services these so we needed help!). We were very interested in building Eco Craft's Luna floorplan, but unfortunately we had such a poor experience with the initial sales consultation that we never made to construction. I sent emails a couple times to the sales rep with all of our information and questions - our budget, what floorplan we liked, told them our difficulty with finding a lot and asked if they help find lots, etc. The rep never actually addressed any of that information, and would usually reply by asking for the same information I had just included... read more
I worked with EcoCraft to build a highly custom energy-efficient home. Unlike other builders, they're familiar with the latest efficiency techniques and really willing to work with you to make exactly what you want. I plan on living in my current home for a long time, but my next home will definitely be built by EcoCraft too! UPDATE: 1.5 years after moving in, I've had to drop the rating from 5 to 4 stars.
