I was very disappointed in my experience at Eckl;s. It was my first and last time there. My son had a pepsi and it cost me $5, serious for that price I could have purchased 5 2 liter bottles. No au ju for the overpriced roast beef sandwich, and of course could not ask a waitress for any because after serving us she disappeared. Samon was overcooked. Every other restaurant I have ever eaten at has served some side dish with your sandwich not here I guess $9.50 for a sandwich is ok with some people. I wonder what they would of... read more

Meal was an embarassment – My son was visiting from Florida and offered to take me to dinner. I suggested Eckl's because I had heard great things and had a couple of good meals there myself. I ordered the broiled Orange Roughy - it was smothered in butter and cooked to the point the bottom was crunchy and difficult to cut. The coleslaw was warm. My son didn't eat his steak because it was flavorless - he described it as like tofu. He also had mashed potatoes with gravy that he couldn't eat because of the salt. He said the sal... read more
