This company was outstanding to work with. I had a number of specific technical questions regarding their product(s) and the technical person I spoke with was extremely knowlegible and helpful with choosing the right product for my application. I would use this company again in a heartbeat!

I've always had a pleasant experience with Eccotemp. I use the L5 for my outdoor pool and my kids and family enjoy it. I enjoy it too probably a little more since it keeps the mess outside and not on my clean floors.

I have had great customer service from Eccotemp since I purchased my water heater in 2013. When I had an issue while it was still under warrranty they took care of it, no hassle, no stress. They stayed on the phone with me until I successfully had the part installed! Just recently, Dec. 20, 2018, I needed a part that was on backorder until Jan. 31. Ouch! ,Long time to go without hot water, especially during the Hollidays! The man at customer service was very apologetic and told me to go ahead and order the part so that I wou... read more

The service warranty is very poor. Due to unforeseen medical issues, we were unable to have the unit installed by our certified plumber for a year. The unit ran for three days and continued giving a E-! error and no hot water. When I contacted their service department they wanted me to do a host of troubleshooting while I new that the problem was with the control board based on an older Ecotemp unit that we had. They said that we had had the unit too long and were wanting to sell me the control board (having the 3 year servi... read more

There are certain troubleshooting steps we must take before sending out any replacement parts and in order to send out replacement parts to honor our warranty, we must have the serial number and proof of purchase for that process to take place. So last week our on demand ecotemp system died... I have a warranty...so they shipped us a part to replace...this part required the whole on demand unit to be completely disassembled. After receiving the part we were unable to complete the work, we were provided no instructions to take this apart and put it back together. This is a propane unit. **update ** so the ecotemp company described this fix as a "hell of a job" I told them disassembly of an entire unit is not an acceptable fix...so here are the options we were given.... read more

So far this company has junk products, I bought one for the outside, hooked it up and it was equip with a freeze senors and it froze and busted the insides, I bought another one. That one did not work correctly. I sent it back to the company to fix. They said they fixed it and sent it back! what I got back was a totally different one! They sent me an indoor, when I had an outdoor. I had to send them pictures if what they sent me before they would send me the Id number to send it back because they did not believe me!
