No customer service, no replies to support request with their form, no follow-up. I will buy another brand after this unit has failed on me, and almost set fire to my wood cabin.
Eccotemp stands by their products! I have had waterless water heaters from this company for many years. At the present, we have one outdoors for those starlight showers and one indoors that is our home's complete hot water supply. i have had a few problems over the years. When I call, a representative is there and continues helping me until the problem is solved. Every one has been kind and knowledgeable. I will continue using Eccotemp for as long as I need hot water! After ordering an Eccotemp hot water heater I had opportunity to reach out to their customer service team online. It was not for any negative reasons, as the product purchased was better than expected. For how large I imagine their company to be, I was amazed at how quickly they responded to my message, something I might not even expect from a small mom-and-pop shop desperate for business. I would never recommend this company to anyone. I bought a unit and installed it in my basement 3 months later the unit was leaking and apparently shorted the entire system out I contacted ecco temp and they wanted me to troubleshoot the system send pictures and documentation proof of purchase which I did. They continued over a 3 week period.to continue this troubleshooting and actually wanted me to go inside the unit and take pictures. After a lengthy investigation by checking pictures, installation and local weather conditions, we found that in regards to your specific case, your water heater froze. The few days before you reached out, we see that the temperature outside never went above freezing and often was below zero. The i12 does not have any anti-freeze protection inside. It was easy to deal with the folks at Eccotemp. They were friendly and knowledgeable, and the product kicks ass! Hot showers with good water pressure are a blessing when on the road or at the camp!

purchased the eccotemp FVI12 tankless water heater , easy to install and up and running in a couple hrs have hot water quicker then regular hot water heater highly recommend tankless hot water heater .
