My partner and I just moved in a few weeks ago and I am so impressed with the team at eaves, specifically Kylie and John at the on site office. They have done so much to make sure our move in process and getting settled went smoothly. Not only are they usually on site if we ever need something but if the office is closed they are still incredibly responsive and take on any issues that come up and see them through until it’s fixed. I really appreciate their effort in making sure we are comfortable and happy in our new space.
I don’t recommend Eaves Walnut Creek (AvalonBay). After moving out, I didn’t get my full deposit back and was charged extra with no clear reason, even though I gave proper notice and left everything clean. There are many hidden fees besides rent utilities, parking (not included), and other monthly charges. The complex isn’t well maintained, parking is limited, and packages often get stolen. Overall, it’s not worth the stress. Management isn’t transparent, and the experience was very disappointing.
My dog enjoyed the resident event
I came to see this building for rent, and it was absolutely terrible! There were cockroaches everywhere—literally crawling in the hallways and inside the units. Trash was all over the place, inside and outside the building. The smell of marijuana was strong throughout the property. The place is extremely dirty and unlivable. I opened the apartment door, saw the filthy bed and roaches, and immediately left.
