Great store and great workers. It's too bad that managers aren't honoring the freedom to be active union members.
I am a frequent customer (and a member of a sister co-op) but am incredibly disappointed with the news of intimidation and anti-union activities at the Eastside Co-Op. Please hire a manager who reflects co-op values.
10 years ago, the Twin Cities Co-ops chose to invest in Eastsode Co-op when it was struggling, and now should disinvest if the management cannot treat the workers with dignity and discuss their union. Shop with respect!
Worker retaliation is illegal and immoral! Workers have a right to organize and Eastside management must respect that right. Eastside should hire back Angelique with backpay immediately. The community is watching.
