I’ve been going to this clinic and doctor since before it was Optum. I think the practice is well-run. I like and respect all the doctors I’be seen there.
My physician is great but Optum and the unresponsive staff is awful. Difficult to manage prescriptions or get timely responses. Worst part is Optum’s billing. $250 out of pocket for a <5 minute video call is robbery and they refuse to even look into it if you try to call them. Do yourself a favor and go find any other provider.
If you enjoy an extreme lack of communication an organization at your doctor’s office, definitely come here. I love my actual doctor (Dr. Beijer) but the admin/support staff is so uncoordinated and disorganized that I’m amazed people manage to get any kind of actual treatment here. Getting a useful response to a message takes forever overall but in my specific case they: 1. almost jeopardized my ability to get a needed surgery because nobody seemed to understand the concept of pre-op labs or have any intent of following up. ... read more
