The maintenance team did a great job.
Overall, it is a good place to live, pretty quiet and convenient, offering all the essential utilities and amenities (dog wash, cinema, pools, etc). The front desk men are consistently polite (morning and night shift, they always greet you and help open the door for you), professional, and supportive. However, the managers could improve their communication and customer service, as responses are often delayed and interactions can sometimes feel dismissive. This apartment is very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. As an international resident, English is not my first language, but all of the staff have been extremely kind, helpful, and welcoming. The location is excellent, with many shops and restaurants within walking distance. One small suggestion would be to consider upgrading the current coffee machine to offer specialty drinks such as lattes. A sparkling water or soda dispenser would also be a nice addition. I toured the place and was told they offer three-month leases with an additional $500 per month fee. I later called to ask some follow-up questions and to confirm my booking dates, and they said they no longer offer three-month leases. Over the past two weeks, I called three more times and was repeatedly told that they still do, and that I should come in again if I wanted to view it. After two wonderful years at East Side Bond, I am sadly moving out at the end of this month to be closer to work and family — and I can honestly say it is one of the best places I have ever lived. The location is unbeatable — fantastic shopping options right nearby, and public transportation is incredibly accessible, making it easy to get around Pittsburgh without any hassle.
