The drivers were super nice. Highly recommend.
I have long used this car service because they are available and reliable. Today I discovered that if you ask ahead of time they will let you ride with your pet. My dog needed to go to the vet and I can't drive or walk because I'm recovering from spine surgery. I googled pet taxis and when I saw Eastern Car Service in my search results I almost wept with relief. They charge the same for a trip with or without a dog. The drivers who take me to the airport are excellent, very professional.
Called late the night before for a 6:45 AM pickup. Immediately got a text with a confirmation number and a text in the morning with the driver's name and phone number. On time, professional, great!
Very good service. I have used them several times to and from La Guardia. They are always on time (actually early). I usually call a couple hours before pickup and have never had an issue. Today I called for airport pickup, the dispatcher said about 15 minutes and was right on. The drivers I have had have all been very friendly.
Very good for traveling with babies or young children; they charge a reasonable surcharge for car seat, and show up with a good seat ready for traveling (unlike other services who are like "hey, do you know how to install this thing?"). Lost some sunglasses in a car; owner Manuel worked hard to get them back to me.
I have used Eastern for all of my rides for the past two years and they are consistently good. I continue to use them due to the constant communication about who is picking you up (name, car to look for, est. time of arrival), the consistent professionalism of their drivers (I did have a few questionable personalities but that is the law of averages). Great ride from Brooklyn to LaGuardia! Driver was on time, friendly, and professional. I received a text confirmation after booking, a text when he was on his way, and a phone call when he pulled up outside. Car was clean and comfortable.
