I had traveled from OH to FL for a 2-week vacation. I was in a tremendous amount of pain in my hip/leg every time I took a step. I had never had acupuncture before but had seen a post about sciatica/piriformis pain and acupuncture so I decided to give it a try hoping I could enjoy the rest of my vacation. I go regularly for acupuncture. I had chronic neck pain for 2 years. It took a few visits, but the pain has disappeared for good. Now we work on any pains that pop up and are working on improving my thyroid function. So far my thyroid meds dosage has been reduced 4 times.
