Just Fantastic – This is among the best bars for beer that I've ever visited. With 16 beers on tap that rotate as the kegs empty (except the Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA), There is going to be something for every taste. At very reasonable prices ($6-7 for draft beers), the selection is fantastic. If they have it, try the Old Rasputin Imperial Stout. You're in for a treat.
My New Neighborhood Hangout – I went to the east village tavern this past Thursday and had an awesome time. Jukebox is in full effect. They have that Internet Jukebox which allows you to download just about anything. They also have the newest Buckhunter. Great beer selection. I was drinking Greenflash IPA which is a rare find in this city. I didn't get anything to eat, but it looked delicious. fun neighborhood bar – Very cool vibe...with the doors all opened onto the street, EVT has a neighborhood, relaxed vibe. The staff was friendly and provided great service-there are a lot of different microbrews on tap, and they gave great recommendations. The tavern has a relaxed atmosphere, (not overcrowded like most pubs) and is the perfect place to hang out with friends for the evening or just to grab a drink . Catchy Wall Mural – Stopped into the East Side Tavern last week after walking by artwork on the side. Nice place. Doors open nicely to the street to take advantage of good weather. Huge selection of beers and I found myself trying a few. Found Hennepin to be my favorite. Relaxed atmosphere and interesting menu...not your normal pub grub. Sliders were really good. I will be back!
One of the best times ever... – There aren't enough beer bars in this city. But now that I found the EAst Village Tavern, I couldn't care less. This place is awesome. I was there on a Thursday night and met the owner who is way cool. The food was great, and the bar has beautiful ladies and a relaxed atmosphere. Only missing a jukebox, I could agree with, but owner told me it was coming soon! Ahhhh, the best damn beer bar. Period.
An all AMERICAN Craft Beer Bar – Nice addition to the Ave C vibe that keeps on getting better since I moved here. This joint has got 16 American draft lines and it 's all good. Some I have never seen in the area. It was just nice to go in to a new bar and not see those standard swill beers that most bars have.
