OMFG LOVED IT!! – Loved it! Loved it! Loved it! simply delicious. I enjoyed the food, the service, the music, the atmosphere and the drinks. no complaints on this place. A must go!!
This place has great beer- great people- great tunes -Really nice bartenders what more can you ask for in a place like this?
Best Brunch in L.E.S. – PAJAMA BRUNCH!!! What else is better than sitting around in your pajamas all day...Rolling out of bed and going to brunch in your pajamas, hanging out with everyone else in the neighborhood in their pajamas. Had the fried croissant stuffed with goat cheese while sucking down a double espresso white russian. Once brunch was over Sunday Funday was in full swing, $4 drink specials all day long. Great idea East Village Tavern. Wait until you see next weeks pajamas.
This place DELIVERS!!! – I am a serious beer drinker and routinely visit the city's most popular places. Had heard about this place from friends and had checked their website and got much more than I expected from a place this new. The owners have clearly done their homework regarding the beer (a nice mix of American craft brews, something for every palate), the food and the atmosphere. Go for happy hour when all tap beers are $3!!! (so much better than the $1 off most other places offer), order some sweet potato fries (crun... read more
SOME MANY DIFFERENT BEERS TO CHOOSE FROM!!! – GREAT SELECTION OF BEER!!!SUPER GRILLED CHICHEN AND BEST MAC AND CHEESE IN TOWN!!!WAS VERY SURPRISED BY THE GREAT FRIENDLY STAFF. PRICE WAS ALSO GREAT FOR A FANTASTIC NIGHT OUT.
I'm A Craft Beer Convert – went to the East Village Tavern last week and I was pleasantly surprised. I was never really a micro-brew guy, but I'll have to say a tried a few and I am a convert. Talking with the bartender I made my way through some of his suggestions. I really enjoyed the Hennepin. The bar had a nice vibe with the front doors open to the night air. Cool jukebox! Didn't eat anything, but the guy next to me ordered the sliders and seemed pleased. I will definitely be back to try a new craft beer (as I learned fr... read more
Went on a beautiful night! – Went here on a beautiful night! Bar opens up right onto the street. We had great Mac N Cheese here!! Everyone was very friendly. Great place to hang out with a group of friends!
Great Service! – I don't usually do this but.. I went to the East Village Tavern on a Friday night recently by accident and it wound up being one of the best nights! The place was packed! Regardless of the amount of people the service was amazing! Normally you would expect to wait forever at the bar while the bartender ignores you. It was the complete opposite here! I haven't been down in that area in a few years. However, after experiencing the new vibe I would absolutely go back!!!
East Village Tavern (Ave c & 10 stree) – Went to The East Village Tavern with 8 friends celebrating my friends PHD. What a blast. The beer selection was insane. We all played the pass around game, where you get to taste everyone's beer selection. I'm good, but there were some I had never had. This is a beer lovers paradise. Drinking great IPA's (Dogfish head 90 Minute imperial for me), great friends, Great jukebox (a little too loud for my taste) and a wide open view of one on NYC coolest neighborhoods (all the front walls o... read more
