I had a restoration job booked in with Paul. Firstly over the phone he gave me a spoken - not written itemised quote based on pictures, i then sent the kombi to his workshop which was 4 hrs away from my home, he then told me it was a complete and full restoration job that would be more than double the quote we spoke about on the phone (40k). Paul restored one of my Kombis years ago, and then restored another. He completed the work on time, and I’m satisfied that the work was done according to the brief. This restoration work is very tricky and he has a wide knowledge in regard to metal work and these vintage Kombis as well.
