I was referred here by my family physician for continuing pain management through medication. I was already under going a trial with the meditronic back stimulator with this office. After my trial I made an appointment to come back and sign contract to start the medication process. They called me the day before my appointment and said they would not prescribe me medication only refer me for a permanent stimulator surgery. The Dr. who is to take care of your pain will not. He has no compassion and will take you off your pain med. Find somewhere else! 😡

I have had the honor of working with Dr.Thomas and Molly Thomas for many years. They work hard for their patients. Dr .Thomas skills in pain management is above excellences and his expectation to work ethics are expected from his well trained staff. Dr.Thomas goes above and beyond for his patients and his staff . ECPC wants our patients to know we care.
José Avila-Calles in the Wilson office is excellent. My adult son is a new patient of his and I am just awed by this doctor and his care toward my son. He is extremely friendly, and just seems to have a genuine caring demeanor - I have never experienced a doctor that truly listens to his patient until now. He explains things very well and if you don’t understand he will explain them differently or until you do understand. I highly recommend Dr. Avila-Calles!
I have been seeing Dr. Aaron Carter for the past several months at the Wilson NC office for facets injections in my back and today had my first Radio-Frequency Heat Ablation treatment. I know it may be a couple of weeks before I get relief from this treatment and I am praying that I do. They are wonderful about explaining everything they do step by step. A year ago I was diagnosed with a rare syndrome called Bertolotti syndrome. At the time I was 22 years old with a syndrome that cause terrible back pain that no young adult should feel.
