Awesome Vibe! Minimal wait and well worth it. Food came out fast and was delicious! Highly recommend the Ham & Jalapeno scramble with Guacamole!!

Great food and friendly staff!! My wife and I saw the restaurant on diners and dives and drove close to 3 hours and it was all worth it

Tour guide David from Bulldog tours told us to go here. Not only was staff friendly and helpful with making choices, the other customers were too! I had shrimp & grits, husband had pork cutlet & shrimp over grits. Both were amazing. Lady at next table had chicken & waffles and it looked wonderful. This will be our first stop next trip back to Charleston.
As the person before me stated, best chicken and waffles ever! Period! A group of schoolmates that try to visit each other from time to time, decided on brunch at the Early Bird as reward for doing the Cooper River Bridge Run......if this is always the reward, I'll go run the bridge again now......well, I'll walk it :) If in Charleston, the Early Bird is a must, a absolute must.
Absolutely fantastic every time! I visit Charleston once or twice a year and this restaurant always makes the itinerary!!! Shrimp and grits with bacon gravy is my personal fav. Nothing on the menu disappoints!
Love the Early Bird. It's on of the few places on earth that all of the family agrees on - everybody can find something that they love. I've tried several things and can't pick a favorite, but the fried chicken is another level; especially with the mushroom sage or lavender honey drizzle. So good I don't even mind the drive - it's only a little over 3 hours each way....
