The worst service in Denver! – This has got to be a joke that service could be this bad.. It's really unfortunate as corporate (apparently in Canada) has done such a great job with the atmosphere and food.. You might as well stay home if considering Earl's downtown at 16th & Glennarm. Their idea of service equals no service at all.
Great Food Great People – With a newly renovated Patio, dinning at earls Park Meadows was an absolute fabulous time. 80 degree weather sipping on a chilled glass of Guenoc Pinot Grigio while savoring the flavors of their ever popular Santa Fe Chicken Salad each taste bud being perfectly satisfied with the tastes of fresh feta cheese, sweet dates, spicy cajun chicken in a scrumptious peanut lime vinaigrette. I can't wait to go back! Next time I may just have 2 orders of Dry Ribs for lunch.... They are that good!
Fun place for normal people – I'm quite sure the first four reviews were written by women. Earls is a great place to have fun. We'll be back. Try going to the spahghetti factory. from aldog7
How many servers does it take to ignore you? 9 apparently. – I knew from past experiences that Earl's was not known for great service, not even for mediocre service, but I expected at least SOME service. I went in for lunch today to break the daily monotony of salad and soup. I came in shortly after the place had opened, when it was generally still empty. It's all downhill – Use to be a great place to go. Lots of socializing, great drinks prices and really good food. Now, the service is horrible, the food average and half the drinks taste watered down. The myth that it's a great place to meet someone is just that...a myth. Most people are there to try to look better then the person next them. The staff is more interested in doing shots and talking with the guys at the bar then getting the customer's orders right.....
Terrible service. – We were extremely disappointed with the service here. The server disappeared for long periods of time, and one of our credit cards was overcharged by $200 (but eventually refunded). We were stuck there for over an hour trying to settle our bill and could not find the server to fix charges that were incorrect. We got the feeling she was hoping that because we were such a large group and had a couple drinks that we would just pay and leave since she was nowhere to be found. Kids not welcome! – My husband & I tried to bring our well-behaved toddler & a friend from out of town to eat at Earl's, but they do not offer highchairs or booster seats. Earl's missed out on a decent size check on a weekday night. Thank goodness there are so many wonderful kid friendly options for a nice dinner in downtown Denver, but Earl's just isn't one of them!
Horrible – I went there with a date and the manager was planted firmly in the bar hitting an a young brunette, I know this because after a meal with terrible service I passed him on my way out and he slung a "thanks for coming in" over his shoulder. I told him that my experience was horrible and that I would not be back... the cook in the kitchen opposite expressed more concern. Love Earl's, BUT........ – If you are a somewhat attractive girl and show up at Earl's, you can completely forget about MOST of the waitresses waiting on you! If you are a guy, good luck. So, if you are a guy, and just want to meet some waitresss, you are in luck. But, if you are a guy, hanging out with friends, and are open to meeting a girl with a great job, who happens to be attractive, GOOD LUCK! MOST of the waitresses here don't offer the girls drinks.
