We just spend one night at the Eagle Mountain House and we wished we could have stayed longer. We enjoyed the rustic style hotel. It's like we were in a movie. The front porch is magnificent, sitting there with a cocktail after a long drive looking at the mountains is breath taking. The rooms was dated but clean & confortable. The tavern is nice and the bartender Brian was very helpful. We had the chance to enjoy a nice dinner on the veranda which was wonderful. Can't wait to come back and stay longer.
One of my new favorite places. Great staff and love this porch. Yes, it could use some updating as long as they don't take away the charm. Thank you EMH!
Great food & Service!! Was the best meal we had out of all of the places we ate at all week.
Very friendly staff, with good recommendations about things to see and do. Loved dinner on the veranda. Only slight downside is that our room wasn't cleaned this morning, and we had to report this.

Exceptional staff! Everyone from the front desk, Katie, wait staff at the Highfield, and our housekeeper, Toni, has been top notch and extremely personable. A truly customized stay and an unforgettable location!
It's like stepping back in time. Beautiful grounds & views. Dog friendly and the employees are all very nice. My one wish would be that dog friendly rooms had a better view than of the roof. I requested better but there were none better with a dog. I would love to return. If you don't like older style Inns then don't go here. To me, that's part of the charm
