RecommendedEnjoying the beautiful weather
We went there today with my VERY excited 8 yr old...all he’s been wanting to do is go in a boat. So we arrived before 6pm low and behold, they were closed, despite their website & signs saying open until 8. Needless to say, we were verrrry disappointed😣😓and my son’s heart broken.

Met Nice folks there. Boat rentals were open and they sell cold drinks and ice cream. Was a nice breeze off the water for a good place to take a rest after trail walking.
Answer the phone and tell us ur not open when ur suppose to be!
The staff here is the best combination of laid back and knowledgable, and it is a really beautiful paddle with lots of variety available.
Very easy accessible , nice and professional staff and boat was in great condition and beautiful resovior I wish staff was more educated on things to see on resovir like wild life, things around, a little more info on boat cafe how to access

Not a fan. Apparently they own the sliver of beach they occupy at Eagle Creek and direct paying private Eagle Creek kayakers to an 18 inch sliver of muddy shoreline to launch private kayaks. I have launched from that site for over a year. Today they lined a dozen vessels blocking the launch and directed me to the mud to launch my kayak. They were NOT busy. I paid Eagle Creek $80 to be able to spend a few hours a weekend bird watching from my kayak and I find EC outfitters treatment offensive. Meanwhile, the few rentals I've ... read more
