Eagle Auto Electric on ebay is selling junk and not supporting it. I purchased on alternator from Eagle and it failed within a 2 month time frame of install. This was with minimum miles driven on the car. I was able to get them to send me a second alternator (paid by myself) as an exchange. I installed this alternator, and it too failed BEFORE I could mail the other one back. Now they will not respond to my emails. Do not buy from this company or their Ebay store. Their products are not what they sell them as.
Warn starter brushes A rebuilt starter from Eagle had old very warn brushes.
Starter motor wired backwards Buyer beware. I purchased a starter motor for a 930 Porsche from this outfit. After fitting the starter the engine would not run. It would turn over but not run. Asked Eagle Electric what it could be, they had no idea... Porsche forum, listserver, also no ideas. Cost me over $1000 in labor fees by a qualified porsche specialist who checked all the wiring, fuel systems etc, spent 12 hours finally to discover that the starter was turning the engine backwards. Auto Electric I am torn between recommending this guy or NOT! Beware make your own decision. He specializes (not so sure) in electrical troubleshooting, computer diagnostics alternators and starters, air conditioning along with alarms and stereos. Wow! that's quite a bit. Anyways, I had a bad experience where he rewired my SUV-it worked, but the condition of my vehicle upon return certainitly left something to be desired.
