Dr Mark Hohne Best Vet Ever! Dog owner for over 30 years. Dr Mark Hohne is the best vet ever! He is very intuitive and extremely bright and a talented surgeon. I have 3 dogs and my 1 dog this was the 1st vet she ever took to and it was when she slipped her disc. She met him and loves him to pieces! That is unbelievable as most dogs never want to see the doctor. Excellent and caring vet Dr Hohne is a very caring skilled vet. The practice was initially owned by three vets that I had taken by pets to since 1970. I was very nervous when Dr Hohne took over but was surprisingly pleased. He is very skilled and caring for both the animal and the owner.
Definitely worth the 30 miles I drove to get there My usual vet is walking distance from my home. I was unsatisfied with the lack of concern and care for my Max and the lack of service on my last visit. A Complete Gem! East Valley Veterinary has taken care of my dog over the last month through numerous health issues and I have never had a pet receive better care. Dr. Hohne has a wonderful "bedside manner". And for the first time in years, I feel like my vet cares more about making my pet well than about bilking me out of my money by overcharging me for every service provided. I have found everyone at East Valley to be pleasant and extremely helpful - including front desk staff.
Aswome doctors they really care about the animals! I hate going to the vet so did my cat after she got in a nasty fight. But thanks to some real comon sence and a little tlc the vet not only eased our worries but gave her some antibiotics. She ( our cat) is now her normal pushy self.
The most Excellent Vet EVER. Dr. Hohne is an absolute hero. When most vets tend to err on the side of 'wait and see', Dr. Hohne didn't hesitate a second to get my Doberman into see him. He saved his life no doubt with the treatment he received. We've been going to Dr. Hohne for 6 years and I would never take my dog to any other vet for anything other than a temperature reading. We drive an hour to see him. Every minute is worth it!!!

Really Great Experience I was recommended to East Valley by one of the LA rescue group when I rescued some abandoned cats from a foreclosure property. First off, anyone who works with people (price-wise) who rescue animals has my vote automatically. I had to take the two rescue kitties, plus my own two for worming when the new girls showed evidence of parasites. Great Vet With Staff at Reasonable Prices I think my visit today with my 2 dogs has been the least expensive vet visit in many years. The staff and veterinarians are very attentive. Many rescue groups use them as they have very reasonable prices. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a good general veterinarian for vaccinations, office checks, teeth cleaning, etc. If you live in the North Hollywood/Studio City/Burbank area this is a very convenient location and definitely much less expensive than most area vets.
