I’ve been dreaming about returning here since stumbling across this place where they roast coffee so great, they have to ship it to Seattle! The record player is here, and they have a comfortable old soft 60´s orange chair in which I am happily lounging while the rain splashed off the outside deck in Black Mountain, NC I wish I could transport this heavenly aroma, happy affability, James Croce on vinyl from their record player, & the simple satisfaction of a memory whose not been dimmed by time or age! Thankyou, Dynamite!
I went to your shop last week for the first time and had such a pleasant experience. Both baristas were extremely kind and helpful in my selection of beans. I’ve worked in the coffee industry and I must say, you do an outstanding job roasting your beans to perfection. �Simply delicious. Thank you!

The vibe at the shop is everything a coffee house should be - mellow, diverse choice of records to put on the turntable, comfy couches, interesting reads on the bookshelf... And the coffee is out of this world! Highly recommend a visit if you're anywhere near Black Mountain!
This is excellent, fair trade coffee at it's best! The staff are very informative and helpful. We actually went direct to distribution center and was able to purchase a 5 pound bag of Honduras Dark, which is not available online. I am so grateful to have found Dynamite Roasting Company! Great coffee that is not bitter at all, just fabulous!
This is a great local treasure. I purchased a pound of Daymaker, and it made my morning coffee an awesome experience! We are lucky to have local businesses doing things like Dynamite Roasting.
Recently stopped by this place and loved it. The coffee was superb and the space was open and bright. There was great music playing, the staff was super friendly, and the local vibe was obvious. While there were plenty of tables, there were few outlets and there is no wifi, so this is def not a "hang out and work" kind of place unless you have your own hotspot.
