Dusk is a no nonsense type of bar and event venue that caters to indie rock and stiff drinks. Inside, it has that dark, Hollywood-type of dive feel, but the attention to detail goes beyond what you would find in a real 'dive.' For instance, a cocktail like the 'Dusk Manhattan' made with honey whiskey isn't created everywhere. Nonetheless, the club isn't that pretentious because you can still find old standbys like 'Gansett Lager in a can.

Ever since my first time being there Rick and his staff have always treated me like I was one of their own. Great people, stellar sound and Danielle can make a delicious cocktail. Dusk will always be one of my favorite places to see a show in Providence.

I've been part of madcap since the spot. I think we found the most amazing fitting spot for us and I'm so excited to bring an even more people to our little worlds. I hope that I'm a lot of people start coming to my cop and appreciating this amazing artistic community that just loves to create music and perform arts and create art. All the previous reviews have nailed it. I'm 52 and been going to shows since the late 70s. Literally hundred of clubs all over map. I love this place. The owner/management care about the venue and it shows. Maybe it was the vibe of the Velvet Acid Christ crowd? But the place was immaculate (yeah laugh-get older and go to shows when you're 50. Loud! But thats ok cause its a small venue and it was good quality, not muddled with too much bass. And a great staff, very friendly and the place was nice and clean. If I didnt live 3 1/2 hours away, I would go there much more often.
I got elbowed in the chest by a girl in a mouse head. Nice venue, friendly people.
It was fairly scream-y (4 Live Screamo Bands)
