Love, Love, Love Bruno's haircuts and Autumns facials I am a huge advocate for the dry haircut method used at Duque. I have been going to Bruno for the past two years for cuts and color and have never had so many compliments on my hair. I think the tally is up to 6 of my girlfriends and my mom who have switched to Bruno since seeing my hair. Autumn has given me a great facial there as well, recommending very helpful products for my problem skin as well as giving good advice on inexpensive treatments I can do at home. And FYI... read more
HOOOORRIBLE the owner cut my hair. it was the WORST haircut of my life! poorly cut, ugly and with absolutely no style. so i had to go back, tail between, to my regular stylist and ask him to help me. even he was pressed to say he hadn't seen a worse cut. to add insult to injury, there was complete indifference on the part of duque to rectify the problem. they do get one award however: nastiest receptionist. congratulations nicky!
Best eyebrows ever! I've only ever experienced Autumn, one of the owners, and I'm really grateful she was able to fix my eyebrows after I went to europe and almost had em waxed OFF. Shoppings pretty great too!
Try this type of drycut!!! About 4 years ago, I brought my teenage daughter who had beautiful long straight hair to Bruno who uses a drycut method. He styled it, yet kept the length. She was so happy with her haircut, that I decided to bring my 12 year old to Bruno as well. I was nervous because her hair was so unruly and grew in a hundred different directions. Shop while waiting for your spa appointment This place has both a salon/spa and a retail storefront that carries an assortment of items like hair products, beauty products, cosmetics, handcrafted jewelry, handbags, thongs and clothing. It's kind of a strange hodge podge of things but they kind of all complement each other in a weird way. Beautiful You I have been going to this salon for years. I have never had anything less than a 100% positive experience everytime I step into the salon. The staff is friendly and very conscientious about making the experience relaxing and beautiful.
Duque really does fix bad hair! I received a scary cut and color from a salon that shall not be named. I remembered seeing Duque's sign on the sidewalk in Ballard saying "We fix bad hair", so I immediately went to seek their help. Robert was my stylist and lived up to the sign's promise. He was very humble and didn't revel in the fact that he was turning a disaster into a masterpiece. He was very positive and friendly. I am forever grateful for the repair work! Dishonest and careless I went to Duque based on the slew of 5-star reviews they had on another ratings site. I wish I had read a little more closely and realized that most of those reviews were written in the same exact style with the same 110% positive talking points, just as an employee or owner would write. A little bit of Heaven tucked in Ballard I just went to Duque last week and it was my second time being pampered there. I absolutely love this place! While I have only had massages there, I would happily go for every service they have. They are a little more expensive than some places but I truly believe you get what you pay for!
