The good, the bad, the ugly..... I held off writing this review in hopes that Robert and Giovanna would make right the terrible wrong done to me, at the hands of one of their stylist, Natalie K. simply the best Okay...let's get it said. These people really know what they are doing. They cut hair dry and let me assure you it really is the only way to go. Plus Autmn's touch is magic...her brow shaping is worth every penny...make the trip see her and Robert...plus you can find some of the most reasonably priced trends that are of the moment! This place is worth the trip to Ballard! PROS: they are skilled.....they actually get the job done right the first time CONS: none...they are supurb!
Good Haircuts! My two teenagers get wonderful haircuts from Bruno. They are picky, but they are always happy with his cuts. While the front desk may be a little brusque, Bruno is incredibly nice and they enjoy visiting Duque. The dog is a plus for them!
Awesome Time! I really love this place! It has everything. The boutique has amazing new earrings every time I go (lots are under $20) and the cutest handbags AND jeans. Last time I went, I watched a woman get the best haircut ever while I got a pedicure in the loft above the salon. I've gotten an AMAZING salt scrub in the spa. And the people are really great. Just dont go... Keep in mind that the woman that made the great review (Tami D.) is actually the owner, full name: Tami Duque.... I really would not reccomend this spa to anyone. The clothes and shoes I have bought there have fallen apart, and the services are not worth the price. PROS: CONS: The rude staff
Duque Salon & Spa is Fabulous Treat yourself to an experience with this Salon. I have been lucky enough to have these folks as part of my beauty routine for more than 7 years now and have never left their care feeling less than beautiful. Just go to Habitude instead! Suzi R's review sounds like another one written by someone on the staff - apparently the whole family works there, and that's part of the RUDE attitude. Esp Autumn - she needs to be reminded that it's her PARENTS store, not hers... worth every penny I had my first dry cut haircut by Giovanni in April, it was expensive but totally worth it. It grew out beautifully (four months later) and my locks have never been longer (which I always aim for, but usually grown out haircuts make my fine hair look spindley). Autum has done my brows for a couple of years, she is equally fabulous. I don't have much brow and she always gives them great definition and color. A place with a big city bling feel, but small time appeal.
Well-known for bad business These people are evil incarnate. Don't go here - something really wrong with these folks. They are well known for shady practices.
