Love the JEWELRY! – Never been for services but have to say I love the huge selection of jewelry that's trendy, well made, of the moment and for ONCE not SO EXPENSIVE (Sorry Olivine, just can't afford $150 necklaces) Great finds.

Worst service anywhere – Stay away bad people bad srvice i cannot express enough owner is pompous and arrogant claiming she only wears prada could not be caught dead in anything else very rude and mean not all people wear prada lady anyway hers looks like nada

They DO fix bad hair – I live in Ballard and go to the Sunday Farmers Market all the time. I noticed the "we fix bad hair" sign and thought I'd try them out seeing as I was not happy with my hair. I saw Bruno. He started to explain to me that they do things different at duque; that they cut hair dry. I was a little skeptical about the whole thing but as the haircut went on and I could feel the gentle touch and see the concentration on his face, I was more at ease. great service... – I stopped in to duque for a gift card and was impressed by the front desk girl Nikki. She didn't just sell me the most expensive service but rather chose something for me that I knew my Mom would enjoy. Really saved me some gift shopping in a pinch and even gave me a free hand cream sample. Gotta say it was quite a change from the regular "spa attitude" I've been dished out at other places. Great makeup! – I HATE fighting department store lines to find the perfect eyeshadow just to have some sales girl push the hottest shade on you even if its lame for your skin tone. Not at duque! I had the most amazing makeup session with Sheryl for my boyfriends b-day party. Not only did she give me ultra gorgeous smoky eyes but I learned how to pick the perfect shade of red lips. ALL FROM VEGAN PARABEN FREE MAKEUP!! I felt like such a super hottie! Thanks duque!
Best in Seattle! – I have tried over and over again to get the perfect "faux hawk" from many salons in Seattle. I think being a guy people think I don't know what a good haircut is. I finally found what I was looking for at duque! I got the perfect not-too-short and not-too-long faux hawk from Bruno. I've been getting compliments ever since and he even does clean-ups in between haircuts for free. Dudes if you're looking for a great cut go to duque!
LOVE THIS PLACE! – I read the review posted by "fofopowder" and her friend. I am just SHOCKED at the nonsense they posted! (It was acutally all posted by fofopowders MOM since the client in this situation was only THIRTEEN) I was checking out behind the irate woman and her 13 year old daugter. I couldn't BELIEVE when she tried to pay for her two hour hair service with a STACK of $10 promotional giftcards.
