5 of us went there and everyone loved it. It's an old traditional steak house, and the best part is they still have a salad bar, and tasty rolls with cinnamon butter. All of the food was very good and the service and staff were great. The seating is a little crowded and the chairs could be a little better, but overall it a win. My wife went back a few days after the first visit to get a takeout salad.
The sides were excellent. It was more than 15 minutes from the time the waiter said he'd bring out bread to arrival at table. The NY Strip was cooked correctly but served room temperature as was the bacon-wrapped filet. The service was achingly slow even though there are only five tables total in the whole place.
Friendly, fast and everything tasted nice. Would definitely eat here again! I was nervous to bring in my toddler but this is definitely kid and family friendly. Food and server was quick and accurate.
Haven't been here in years. Still great food and reasonable prices. Our waiter was great. 6/30/2026 I tried the hamburger, delicious. My wife got fried okra by mistake but it was the best we've ever eaten. Same waiter as always, he's the best (been there for 20 years). Looking forward to next time.
I have been a patron of Dunstons since the 1967( I was about 4 on my first visit ) my parents would bring me. Since that time I have a regular going about 7 to 10 times a year. It has always been great. But the last few years Dunstons could not cook a Med Rare or Med steak to save their lifes. Everything is burnt and well done.
