Unhappy experience! My experience with Duncan Business Machines was an unhappy one. On September 25, 2007, I took an Olympia 35 electric typewriter to them for cleaning, oiling, and diagnosis of any problems. Prominently displayed on their counter was a sign warning that any item left with them would be subject to a diagnosis fee of $35.00. The clerk who took my typewriter called my attention to the fee; I acknowledged my awareness of it; and she told me that I would be called in about a week.
