This place used to be great.... Five years ago maybe? Since then, the service has taken a hit and the food has disappointed, as well. I don't know if there was a management change? The roof top is still a nice spot on the summer, but it's no longer worth the prices they command.

It feels like its time is limited. We've been there several times over the years and it has always been busy. Not last night. Now there were some events in the area so perhaps what we saw wasn't typical, but the building is supposedly up for sale. The menu has been scaled back to a limited number of items perhaps to control food costs and the prices are way higher than they were or than they should be. The food is still excellent. Amazing food, beautiful view! The Lobster Ravioli was to die for.
Had a pleasant rooftop evening at this formerly terrific restaurant. I am disappointed that even though my experience was ok it could have been so much more. In the past Dunaway's was first class all the way. Service and meals were always top notch. I just get the feeling that with a bad economy and business slower than in years past that quality overall has suffered as the restaurant tries to stay profitable.
