The menu was different than most places which was nice. We had been on the road for days and stopped here as it wasn't a chain restaurant. Good service, good food.
This is the second time we have eaten here and we will be back. Both of us enjoyed the Royal Burger...thanks to the cook for making my bacon super crispy!

My sister and I come up to Duluth to celebrate our birthdays every summer/fall. We have eaten here twice and it was amazingly good! Homemade corn beef hash with organic eggs on top. A large buckwheat pancake with fresh fruit syrup. So much food and you don't want to stop eating because you won't be back for a year. The staff are helpful, quick and courteous. By the looks of the crowd waiting for their turn, you don't want to miss out!
The food was fantastic and considering how busy it was our server Cindy did a very nice job. I do wish the wait wasn't so long. But happy for their success.
Great service, super friendly staff, and even when there's a million people waiting, they get you in fast. The huevos or everything skillets are spectacular, and their parking lot grown veggies are delish!
I hadn't been to The Duluth Grill in a fairly long time as I was normally put off by the long wait times. I went last night and got a table immediately (granted it was a Wednesday night) with great service. I ordered the Chorizo Gorditas (without cheese and sub cashew sour cream) and I instantly fell in love. It was the most flavorful dish I have had in years in Duluth. Teenagers, 1 has rabbit and thee other just wants a cheeseburger....oh and no fries (they don't make them) but the onion rings more than made up for her lack of starch vitamin. Hubby had the Wed. Pasty Special....he is a pasty kinda guy, good, filling, great cole slaw. I had the duck mi baguette, I liked the duck but the jalapenos were not seeded so along with way too much pickled ginger it was lost on this sandwich. We are going back 1 more time for breakfast...
