Duke Kahanamoku was (and still is) a Hawaiian icon and statesman. He ruled the waves as a surfer and subsequently introduced the sport to the rest of the world. Always a great experience. Truly one of our must do spots, when we are in HB
Went for lunch when they opened, and it took over an hour to get served after we ordered. We were one of the first parties seated, and every table around us was served first. Additionally, my husband had to send his hamburger back twice...once because his hamburger was a cheeseburger, and the second time because it was rare. We won't be back.
My wife and I split a couple of appetizers, the coconut shrimp and the Korean sticky ribs...both were very good, the ribs being the favorite. Staff was really attentive and worked on getting us a great window seat! When we come back to visit Huntington Beach...we will definitely make Dukes a stop!
Beautiful view, amazing menu, great service and wonderful experience! I recommend reservations!
