Duke Kahanamoku was (and still is) a Hawaiian icon and statesman. He ruled the waves as a surfer and subsequently introduced the sport to the rest of the world. Great buffet, lovely place, right on beach. We had requested specific area of restaurant for family gathering. When arrived, we were informed area not available. Disappointing to our hosts, however the restaurant made it right by giving us another large table by the window and comping the hosts meal. Overall a great experience, great food, ambiance, though the restaurant is quite loud.
da bes! Good food, good staff, good management and a host of hawaiianophiles that love the island style. And of course the entertainment is superb.
