Duke Kahanamoku was (and still is) a Hawaiian icon and statesman. He ruled the waves as a surfer and subsequently introduced the sport to the rest of the world. Great restaurant! Tasty food that is not over priced for what you get. We had great service and it has amazing views of the sunset. Highly recommend.
Great restaurant. Second time we dined at this Dukes. Excellent food , atmosphere and service! Very affordable fine dining with a great view of the ocean and sunset. Will definitely return on our next visit to CA.

Great atmosphere. I know that it's not a big deal but, loved that they had diet Pepsi. I ordered the shrimp cocktail . Huge shrimps. Great fresh fish . Liked that that had a few gluten free options for me . Can't wait to go back and have the Sunday brunch . Mahalo plenty Dukes
Our waiter was very nice, but not impressed with the food. Menu very limited. We haven’t been there in years, use to go when it was Maxwells. Now that was excellent fine dinning. This was more of a high priced side walk cafe. Sorry won’t be coming back.
