This is because of our ultrasound technician. She was phenomenal. Haven't had a bad technician yet but she definitely stands above the rest. Told us every angle she was looking at and measurement made. Did her best to help me feel comfortable laying down and was very quick. Didn't have to reapply jelly either. The doctor we spoke with today had no problem repeating himself to help put to rest some concerns we had. Drove an hour for an appointment and find out all of a sudden when I arrive for my appointment. I couldn’t bring my son or my husband with me after just being at a Duke office a week prior and they were allowed to come no problem. Front staff was rude and not understanding. I was pregnant with my son during Covid and couldn’t have anyone with me then and now I’m being faced with the same issues. I visited 7-8 times throughout our pregnancy. None of the times these people took me on time. Not sure if they over book the appointments and keep patients waiting. I had to wait on an average almost for half an hour always before they get us in. Bad experience with schedule. Doctors are fine though.
I’m a FTM with a high risk pregnancy. All of my appointments at this office have been great! Nurses Ali and Erin in particular have been amazing and both have wonderful bedside manner. All of the nurses, ultrasound technicians, and doctors I’ve interacted with seem to take their jobs very seriously, are professional, and have made me feel very informed and comfortable at my appointments. Highly recommend Duke Perinatal Consultants of Cary!
Maybe use a different perinatal clinic, this clinic will have you wait an hour past your appointment time after you get there 15 minutes early like they request, it’s extremely frustrating. And when they run behind they will rush through your appointment. Not to mention the front desk staff has NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, or their personalities just really suck…
