Review for Duke Health Pediatric Care: Good care but crappy billing practices. Has happened to us twice.. Went for sick visit - same day walkin appointment. This is how it plays out: Sr. doctor will have a trainee doctor/student accompanying them (sick visit or preventive care annual visit - does not matter). Doctor spends half the time with patient and half with student explaining them the diagnosis. This review is more specific to scheduling and also the irresponsibility of Doctor Eckensweiler and the staff. I’ve scheduled an appointment to meet Dr. Eckensweiler almost a week ago. And one of the associate helped me to schedule this. And just a few hours before the appointment I’ve been informed that I should meet a PA and not the doctor. And they asked me to reschedule the appointment without any proper reason. This is the most ridiculous service a patient or a parent can expect from this medical service. I won’t recomm... read more
