Thank you for being our guests. We understand what you are saying. The restaurant is closed due to the hiring of a new cook(s), the dining room is going through some deep cleaning and we have a designer completing her sketches as to what the new look will be. The whole hotel is going to be getting a lot of TLC.
It was Great because it allowed my dog while traveling across the country- But there were smokers just outside your door- no limit to feet away from the building- and the AC did not work properly. I'm asthmatic so the smoking and problematic AC was hard for me. There is a cute diner attached to the building.

Have wanted to stay at the historic Dude Rancher Lodge for years and finally was able to last week. I enjoyed every minute of it, the décor was perfect- updated period, it was clean and fresh, the staff was helpful and polite, particularly Brittany, our breakfast server in the café, she was delightful. I would have liked to take the bed home, it was very comfortable. I enjoyed the downtown location for strolling and proximity to the Yellowstone Art Museum. Thank you for a great stay, I heartily recommend staying here.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was clean and the decor throughout is charming. We were really glad we chose to stay here. Didn't see any ghosts!
