Why Go Anywhere Else? Duchess on Bridgeport Ave. in Shelton is a really good meal for a really good price. The chili dogs and onion rings are my favorite but everything I have ever had is good. Parking can be an issue, especially when the lunch crowd starts to hit the drive thru but it is worth it!
Duchess Family Restaurant A diner type restaurant with home cooking style meals. Great prices. Friendly service. Good menu variety - to satisfy any body. Breakfast can be ordered anytime. A great way to top of any evening of fun!
Ok food ok service This place will only recieve three stars. their food is mediocore and so is the service. It has a larger menu selection than some of the larger fast food chains around but higher prices too.
Great Place to dine at! The Duchess Restaraunt in Ansonia is a great place to dine in at. The Cashiers/Employees are extremely friendly and helpful. They work quickly to get your order in. They have wait staff that bring your food to your table if you eat in their dining area. It is like you are in a nice family restaraunt and not just a fast food joint. it's like all dutchesses and fast foods what do you expect from the Dutchess ? Its not going to be any different than the other dutchess franchises. If you like burger king and all the other fast food places. these places use the same oil over and over and its not healthy. stay home or bring your own lunch to work. I wont let my kids eat there either. PROS: CONS: not healthy folks
Food I think this place is good. The service is excellent-if you go in the drive through, a worker will bring out the food for you and if you eat inside a worker will also bring the food to where you sit. The food is alittle expensiver than other fast food places, but the food is delicious. I would recommend this place.
Good for fast food I've always found Duchess to be a good choice for fast food. Then menu offers more options than other fast food chains and the food seems more freshly cooked.
breakfast ! Family goes for breakfast - good variety. Love the Belguin waffle with strawberries and whip cream. Nice size portions at a great price. Lunch favorite is the crispy chicken sandwich.
