I work for a group of general surgeons. I referred one of my friends to Dr. Duc Vo to set up a consultation. She contacted the office, and the initial phone call to set up a the appointment did not go well. The staff member was very rude, not helpful, so much so, that she decided to go with another physician. The office manager needs to train the staff on phone etiquette and providing friendly patient service. The staff makes all the difference in a patient's experience. Dr. Vo operated on my wife’s shoulder and was awesome. So when I injured mine, I knew I wanted him to treat me. I ended up needing surgery as well and he was fantastic. He always takes time to talk with his patients and genuinely cares about them. He doesn’t just tell you what he thinks you need, he gives you options. I always felt like I was part of the decision making process and that makes a huge difference as a patient.

Dr Vo is an exceptional doctor. I've seen him twice now, from 8 yrs ago and I just had shoulder surgery on 3/19/2019. He answered all of my questions with such a great bedside manner. His staff at the GB location is spot on. I highly recommend him without a doubt.

Dr Vo performed more procedures on me than I wished due to car wrecks. He is professional and very matter of fact, which I like. If I had a question, especially post-op, I got a call from him at the end of the day. He is the only doctor I have had that has called me 100% of the time when I requested a call from the doctor. He is busy. I am a matter of fact, straight to the point patient. Others are more long winded which causes office delays.
