History Established in 1929. "DuBeau's Motel Inn" was built in 1929 by California businessman Mr A E DuBeau. It was the first motel in Flagstaff, strategically located on the original Route 66 corridor in the center of town. The motel was specifically designed to attract "the better class of motorist" with modern amenities such as private tiled bathrooms, carpeting & double beds. There's just something about being greeted with a warm smile and a helpful attitude when you wander into a hostel after a long day of travel. This is the first hostel I've stayed in with "housekeeping"! It made me feel so fancy!

My mom had a accident and landed in the Flagstaff hospital. I stopped by the hostel for a hot shower. The gal at the desk was very nice. She offered me a towel and told me to take as long as I wanted. The place was clean and tidy. I think it’s located on historic route 66
I had a great stay here. The staff were polite and friendly. They have clean rooms. If you're travelling on a tight budget, this is the place to stay while in Flagstaff.
